DecUI at WoWInterface

Known issues for version 8.X
*None know at this time.

Welcome to DecUI! This is an edited version of the ElvUI version 7 platform, styled to be a bit more information-rich, with an homage to classic ElvUI/Tukui looks. ALL due credit goes to the community and contributors there for the many ideas, tweaks and fixes to the platform. Without their efforts, this compilation would not exist. /salute

Supports 1680x1050 and up, Multimonitor/Eyefinity/nVidia Surround friendly, easy to install and configure. Users of resolutions smaller than 1680x1050 can use the Low Resolution option within the UI, yet you will need to adjust elements to fit your resolution.

STEP 1 - Make a backup of your existing UI!

Go to your World of Warcraft folder.
Copy the Interface and WTF folders, and paste them into a new folder of your choice and name. This will be your backup in case you want to go back.
Delete the Interface and WTF folders in the World of Warcraft folder.

STEP 2 - Follow these steps to properly set up DecUI

Extract the folders inside DecUI to your World of Warcraft folder.

STEP 3 - Log in and set up your Video settings

Doing this beforehand will allow you to skip the resolution warning of the UI. Once logged in, you will be prompted to go through the in-game configuration wizard to adjust the appearance. This will happen only once per character, unless you manually reset the UI.

Clicking the "L" icon on the bottom-right of the left chat panel unlocks UI elements to be placed manually.

Remember to click the "C" icon at the bottom-left of the right chat panel, or type /dec for the config menu. Entering this will give you access to the in-game config options, that allows you to more easily tweak appearance settings, such as increasing/reducing the amount of action bars, datatext shown, etc.

This version includes numerous changes and additions to the standard version of ElvUI itself as well as a few addons that are listed. The goal was to unify extra functionality with a clean look and layout that would be uniform to all classes. Some addons have been edited to either match the theme that I am aiming for, or simply .TOC updates for the 5.4.8 patch. Updating these will hamper their appearance and/or functionality with DecUI: (aka don't use Curse or any other auto-updater to update the below listed addons)

Core Package

Supplement Package

Also includes portions of AI-Art and MiirGui panel replacement art, Ferous Media and pHishr's Media status panel artwork, and Login^2 replacement login art. And various fonts and textures from BenikUI, Tukui, Codename:Blaze.

Version 8.17 for the core and supplemental package has been uploaded, see the Changelog for update info.
TukUI Installer users - The installer will show an error when using it to update, DecUI is still installed to your system

Having issues? Please:

* Do a clean install - a LOT of things have changed with WoW, ElvUI and addons in general. Try starting with a clean slate.

* Make sure you are not using Curse or any other AddOn updater to attempt updating the addons in either package.

* If you are still are having problems, please post as much information as possible about the issue, and include screenshots whenever possible. Doing so helps me to better identify and solve any problems and ensures that the amount of incomplete posts about issues are kept to a minimum.

Thank you.

Hi, I have to say I love this UI, this is exactly what I have been needing and looking for. I have never had a problem till now. ElvUI just did an update, and even since then I have been having UI errors and problems like crazy. I've even tried using the Tuki client to install DecUI and that sez there are Toc errors. I know you are very busy but any chance of an update to this amazing UI?

reminders. it's in the main list for the elvui settings. it seems incredibly out of date, because it keeps saying you don't have buffs like molten shield and other things that used to be actives, but are now passives, so that icon doesn't go away.

it's best to disable it completely, imo

I do not know how to turn one feature off. Whenever I am on combat, in the middle of screen keeps pooping an icon (when I am in Frost its Frost armor, Arcane - Arcane armor = passive abilities). And It really is annoying. Do you know guys how to turn it off?

seems the issue with ElvUI and forcing the use UI scale bug is still in effect.

Either that, or for some reason it didn't overwrite whatever flag it is that's causing it. I haven't been able to find it for months. The setting is turned off in the settings, and i've systematically disabled every addon i have one by one. it's only when i disable ElvUI settings that it doesn't force me to use UI scaling after a reload or relog.
