It still works perfectly, so there is no need to update currently. But the author does not plan on continuing at the moment.
I have made inquiries over on the UI and Macro Forums for WoW about someone picking it up and nobody seemed interested. If I can learn enough about making addons and Lua by MoP, I will attempt to pick it up...

I have been trying to get pictures into my chat background. It just isn't working. I downloaded the nightsky picture, put it into paint, renamed it to a .tga file and moved it into my textures folder under ElvUI. Then followed your instructions to the T on here. I even copied and pasted the .lua change into my lua folder and then opened WoW and typed in exactly what you have listed in both places for the chat frames. Completely exited WoW, logged back in. Nothing. No pics, no changes to the chat boxes. Nothing. I repeated the process probably 10 times to make sure I wasn't missing something or had something wrong. Still can't figure it out. I am a .lua dummy so to speak hence why I just coped and pasted what you had listed for the nightsky picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the work you do on these forums as well.

Not sure why you opened the file in paint and changed the name to .tga, if you used the download link from Tuk or WoW-Interface it should already be in a .tga format. That would be the only thing I can think of that would prohibit it, since MS Paint doesn't work with TGA's since it has no transparency working.

What are you having problems configuring? If you have downloaded the addons I use and have the WTF folder I uploaded, you should just be able to set it to the "Konungr - Illidan" profile and it set it automatically for you. All I have to do when creating a new category is set the ElvUI, Bartender4, and Omen3 to the Copy from the "Konungr - Illidan" profile, disable the Actionbar Module within ElvUI, reload UI, and viola, UI setup.
