**WARNING: This is the same information from the README.txt file included in the Download!**

1. Back-up your Interface/WTF folders!

2. Un-zip VxtUI.zip to Desktop.

3. Move the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders from VxtUI into your WoW folder.
(e.g. E:\\World of Warcraft\\_retail_\\)

4. Rename the ACCOUNTNAME, Server, and Character subfolders within the WTF folder to your info
(use your old WTF folder you backed up for help if you need!)

5. Launch World Of Warcraft and load into the toon you renamed the 'Character' folder earlier to.

6. Run the ElvUI installer.

7. Run or Skip the BenikUI installer.
(I suggest skipping steps until you get to Chat setup to move chat tabs all to Left Chat)

8. Run the VxtUI installer.
(Some things will look off. It's okay!)

9. Type "/ec" or open ElvUI's GUI from the Game Menu. Go to the "Profile" tab and select the "Vxt" or "Vxt-Caster" profile from the drop down.
Also select the "Vxt" profile for AddOn Skins.
(This will finish the ElvUI settings for now!)

10. Type "/bw" to load BigWigs' GUI and select the "Vxt" profile in Profile section.
Type "/raven" to load Raven's GUI and select the "Vxt" profile in Profile section.
Type "/msbt" to load MikScrollingBattleText GUI and select the "Vxt" profile.

11. Select the "Vxt" profile for Kaliel's Tracker.
(This will prompt a Reload. We are done!)

12. ENJOY VXTUI!!! (>O_o)>

I will not pretend to be an expert on anything. Without advice and help from those who know what to do, I would not be able to make UI's like I do. After messing around with AddOns for 10+ years now, I have learned to never be afraid to ask those more knowledgeable than you for help! Be thankful that we have the tools and the developers that create and share those tools with us!

My .TOC file is 100% in there. It is probably giving that error because I have Folders and Sub-Folders. The .TOC file is in the ElvUI_VxtUI folder like it should be.

vxt May 18, 2019 at 17:12

@fostot: DM me on Discord is the easiest way. Usually online there.

fostot May 18, 2019 at 16:25

vxt, Where would you like errors reported, cannot get through the process from a fresh wow install.

Kylemartin0819 May 14, 2019 at 22:38

I am trying to install this via the Tukui and @vxt it says I need to let you know that an error has occurred because you haven't included a TOC file. It won't install.

Alkedias May 06, 2019 at 12:13

@vxt i'm done it before you write here and all working. Really need to delete 'Config.wtf' in WTF Folder.
Thank you!

vxt May 06, 2019 at 11:19

@Alkedias: Try deleting the 'Config.wtf' located in the first subsection of the WTF folder. It might be trying to load you into the enUS region if you are EU or another region.

Alkedias May 06, 2019 at 11:11

Hello mate! Can u help me with your ui?
I done ALL what write in installation page, but when i copied your WTF folder and renamed it - i cant login in WoW game. All the time is 'you are disconnected from server'. When i delete your WTF folder - all ok, i'm free can login to server and play. Thanx early!

@3eist: Go to the Skins tab of ElvUI and enable Parchment Remover. For some reason it was turned off.

3eist Apr 28, 2019 at 20:26

mh yes, so reasonably I've managed it now, why is not it right from the start in the profile with it? ^^ Um, I have another question, how can I change the shadow in the questlog or when I take a quest? The whole text is in black and hard to read because it's all written in bold. ^^ thanks for your Support. <3

vxt Apr 28, 2019 at 15:32

@3eist: You did everything right. The 'Rainbow Texture' is used only for Alternate Power Bar by default. If you'd like to use the Rainbow Texture for let's say ALL classes regular power bar texture, simply go to BenikUI's options and set the Power Texture to my rainbow texture from the drop down (will be like Vxt 03 or something). Then simply go to Unit Frames in ElvUI and navigate to 'Colors' and set the color of all those power colors to a pure White color and voila!

3eist Apr 28, 2019 at 12:05

Hey, I did 100% exactly what was written in your readme file, but unfortunately it does not look like yours on your screenshots. I do not have the rainbow bars. I thought it's only shamans, but as you can see on my screenshot this is not the case. I have tried it with my warriors, warlocks and even shamans and it does not exist. Did I do something wrong? I would be very happy if someone can help me further. ^^

@Zawamura: choose either 'Long Buffs' or 'Short Buffs' and choose "Create As Bars". That way you don't override existing groups. Be sure to backup stuff before massing with it, in case it messes something up.

Zawamura Apr 16, 2019 at 13:45

Could you help me out with Raven? I want to make a bar group that shows boss buffs (Like Mekkatorques stacking Electroshock Amplification) on the target unitframe. Can't really figure out which toggles to use to make them show up.. I'm attaching it to ElvUF_target parent and anchor.

vxt Mar 17, 2019 at 05:13

@Zawamura: Not quite sure what you mean, but all font sizes should be adjustable to whatever size you need.

vxt Mar 15, 2019 at 21:18

@bladexmaster: make sure you renamed the WTF folders properly. Profiles are saved via Saved Variables within the WTF folders. Without renaming the 3 folders in the instructions, the AddOns will simply create a "clean" directory with no profiles.
