**WARNING: This is the same information from the README.txt file included in the Download!**

1. Back-up your Interface/WTF folders!

2. Un-zip VxtUI.zip to Desktop.

3. Move the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders from VxtUI into your WoW folder.
(e.g. E:\\World of Warcraft\\_retail_\\)

4. Rename the ACCOUNTNAME, Server, and Character subfolders within the WTF folder to your info
(use your old WTF folder you backed up for help if you need!)

5. Launch World Of Warcraft and load into the toon you renamed the 'Character' folder earlier to.

6. Run the ElvUI installer.

7. Run or Skip the BenikUI installer.
(I suggest skipping steps until you get to Chat setup to move chat tabs all to Left Chat)

8. Run the VxtUI installer.
(Some things will look off. It's okay!)

9. Type "/ec" or open ElvUI's GUI from the Game Menu. Go to the "Profile" tab and select the "Vxt" profile from the drop down.
Also select the "Vxt" profile for AddOn Skins.
(This will finish the ElvUI settings for now!)

10. Type "/bw" to load BigWigs' GUI and select the "Vxt" profile in Profile section.
Type "/raven" to load Raven's GUI and select the "Vxt" profile in Profile section.
Type "/msbt" to load MikScrollingBattleText GUI and select the "Vxt" profile.

11. Select the "Vxt" profile for Kaliel's Tracker.
(This will prompt a Reload. We are done!)

12. ENJOY VXTUI!!! (>O_o)>

I will not pretend to be an expert on anything. Without advice and help from those who know what to do, I would not be able to make UI's like I do. After messing around with AddOns for 10+ years now, I have learned to never be afraid to ask those more knowledgeable than you for help! Be thankful that we have the tools and the developers that create and share those tools with us!

The text size in the left chatbox is too small even when the max size of 20 is selected from right clicking the chat tab and going to font size. I've been looking but can't find which file to edit to change it to something above 20. Increasing ui scale works but it's not the ideal solution for me.

vxt Mar 17, 2019 at 05:13

@Zawamura: Not quite sure what you mean, but all font sizes should be adjustable to whatever size you need.

Zawamura Mar 16, 2019 at 14:31

Is there any way to change the textsize for the chatbox without increasing ui scale any further? Even the highest size of "20" in the chat dropdown is too small for me.

I am comfortable editing text files so please point me in the right direction.

@bladexmaster: make sure you renamed the WTF folders properly. Profiles are saved via Saved Variables within the WTF folders. Without renaming the 3 folders in the instructions, the AddOns will simply create a "clean" directory with no profiles.

bladexmaster Mar 15, 2019 at 06:16

i did everything you listed and it's not popping up in my profiles

@Corio & @crycry19: I use 0.53 UI Scale. However my display is 2560x1440 on a 27-inch screen. If you play on something bigger or smaller (4k, 1440-extended, 1920x1080, etc.) you may need to play with the UI Scale number if your Auto Scale is not giving you a pixel-perfect value. You may also need to unlock frames and nudge them around. That can be done via 'Toggle Anchors' in the ElvUI GUI.

I know when I upgraded from my 24-inch 1920x1080 display I had to tweak my UI Scale a bit. Hope that helps!

crycry19 Mar 12, 2019 at 00:49

I second Corio's comment I am on a 1920x1080p monitor and the scale is not the same or the placements what scale do you use?

Alling Mar 11, 2019 at 16:48

@vxt ; It's fine ;) Just wanted to let you know ;)
I'm installing the UI now, as we speak ^^

Corio Mar 11, 2019 at 13:37

Hi, wich is the right UI Scale? Auto Scale says by me 0.4 (UHD Display) but some frames and elements are off.. or need to move things by my own ?

vxt Mar 11, 2019 at 11:14

@Alling: It's most likely because the UI is not just my Plug-In. I'll see if there's something I can do about that. For now, just download from this page. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Alling Mar 11, 2019 at 10:53

So, I just tried to dowenload through the Tukui Client, and I got an error saying there is no .toc files ind the secondary directory?

@crycry19: You need to have ElvUI_CustomTags properly placed in your AddOns folder. If the folder that's inside your AddOns folder is something like "ElvUI_CustomTags-master-38e20b67dec7b62301070139feb013f8604f5ebc" after un-zipping it, the actual folder you need to put into AddOns folder is inside that one.

crycry19 Mar 11, 2019 at 09:18

big issue with the nameplate code [health:percent:hidefull:hidedead] isn't working correctly

vxt Mar 10, 2019 at 02:10

@Kaeldorn: Yeah SharedMedia is too big to package, so i'll just link to the download page for the AddOn. And good call on Kaliel's Tracker! I had to trim down so many AddOns just to get my Plug-In published, so lost track of some of these.

Kaeldorn Mar 10, 2019 at 02:03

@Vxt: No problem, I could also point out that, you need to include Sharedmedia, because your MyMedia requires that dep. Also Kaliel's Tracker is not on the list either ;)
