Working hard.

Soon ... We'll come back stronger than ever!

New website launch date is August 3, 2017 at 14:00 (EST)

We are getting very close to a relaunch of the Tukui community website. We would love to show off a brand new logo to go with the new site, and this is where you come in.

The Tukui staff would love to see what you, our beloved community, can come up with. We will pick the logo we like best among all the submissions and this will be the new logo on the Tukui website. The winning submission will be rewarded with a lifetime VIP account at Tukui and a 60 days prepaid WoW game time card.

In addition to this, our moderator Darth Predator is donating various game codes for steam and origin as available prizes too. We will ask the people who submitted our top picks to rank the games, where a higher rank means you want that game more than others. We will then go through these priority lists and award the games according to these priorities if possible. The winners list will be used first, then the runner-up and so on. If a game in your top spot on your list is not available, then we will check the 2nd highest rated game you had on the list and so on.

We don't have any rules or requirements regarding your submission. You are free to let your creativity flow, and we look forward to whatever crazy ideas you guys can come up with. In case you want something to spark your inspiration, then you can take a look at the preview of the site we posted a little while ago on Twitter. Please don't let the preview limit your imagination though. You have absolutely free hands to do whatever you want.

The deadline for submission is on Monday July 31st right before midnight (11:59pm/23:59 UTC). You can send a link to a moderator on Discord or you can use Twitter or any other means to get the submission into our hands. The choice is yours.

Best of luck, we look forward to see what you can come up with.

As most of you know already, someone was able to get access to the hosting account of our server. This allowed the person to delete everything on the server, including the backups that were connected to this hosting account. Unfortunately this means we have no way of restoring the website and connected services to their original state.

This is obviously a terrible loss for the Tukui community as a whole, and for each individual user who relied on Tukui.

At this point we saw only three options. We could rebuild everything from scratch, while salvaging as much as we could from Web Archives. Another option was to switch to Curse hosting and abandon our forum. The final option was to abandon Tukui and ElvUI altogether.

I hope everyone will be happy to know that we went with option #1. Tukz will be working to build a new and better home for us. While it is terribly annoying that this incident happened, we believe that the final outcome will make for a better experience for the entire Tukui community, as soon as we get everything up and running.

This will obviously not happen overnight, as we all have lives that go on outside our daily routines in the Tukui community. We will do our best to get everything up and running as fast as possible, and ask for your patience and understanding while we work through any issues that may arise.

If you are a supporter of the Tukui community with a premium subscription active, don't worry! Your subscriptions are not loss or affected, because they are managed from Paypal, and nothing here is lost. We will do something special for you when we will be fully back online!
