Since Tukui.org forums are now in read only mode, I strongly suggest to post any issues/comments/recommendations/etc, in BenikUI Discord Server.
This includes all my other addons, like Location Plus and Nuts & Bolts.

Please type in chat /luaerror on, to disable all addons except ElvUI. If your issue persists, you may need to redownload ElvUI, you won't lose your settings. If there is no error, re enable your ElvUI plugins one by one to grab the one that is causing your issue.

Type in chat /luaerror on. See if your issue persists.

I got in touch with him, he's taking a break from WoW, probably getting back with the next expansion.

You could try ElvUI Nuts & Bolts that has a DT text color module or see how it's achieved by digging in its code. Edit: Just noticed that you are playing on TBC version. Nuts & Bolts hasn't been updated for TBC but you can still dig its code. I don't think that there is gonna be a big difference wit...

Lot's of things can cause this issue, most common are game crashing, closing the game with Alt+F4, hdd issues. I strongly suggest to keep a backup of your in game WTF folder, one for each game version (retail, tbc, classic). Addon authors don't do a profile wipe of their addons, unless it's complete...
