Website scrolling is painful on macOS

The new website is using a JavaScript library to implement some kind of smooth scrolling system by hijacking the scrolling events. This library is only used on the website, not on the forums.
This library behaves really badly on macOS when trying to scroll using the integrated trackpad or Apple's Magic Mouse as both devices have native smooth scroll and even inertia scroll. Scrolling a small amount makes the webpage jump multiple sections in a chopped animation.

When using the Chrome dev tools inspector to remove the event listener placed by that library on the mousewheel event, scrolling is back to normal and usable.

Note that the library is checking if the browser used is Chrome before adding the event listeners, so other browsers like Safari don't have this issue since the scrolling is never hijack and the native scroll is used.
