As mentioned in the opening post (don’t update just before raiding) it will probably take more than a minute. With that information, you can choose now, as you said, to replace it entirely or work with the new updated nameplates.

It should be pretty close to the original look and settings right out of the gate.. If you changed the filter order.. That will have to be redone.. Along with other settings.

Are nameplates will be still visible through walls? If yes, then why this update needed?

They won't be full alpha and they can be fully transparent. Just a CVar which the old plates couldn't do before.

Better code base. Better FPS. There is many reasons that was outlined in the original post.

First of all, very nice addon and thanks to Azilroka and the team taking pains to deliver on this. I am intrigued by something you mentioned in your post:
Imagine the nameplate being an invisible and clickable container
Does that mean I could macro left - and -right mouse clicks now?
