Hello, it seems that for my understanding the way these work has changed so im trying to create a unit frame to show my lvl for classic but i dont get how.
It hasn’t changed, they are in a different set out.

You still need to go to the frame ie player Unitframe - custom texts
And add it there.

There isn’t an ilvl tag though.
Thank you i found it i cant seem to find how to show the percentage when im on full health per say to display 100%
Please go over the guide. This is in the health section It has this exact tag as an example even
There is also a list of tags and explanation in the ElvUI menu in game menu - Available Tags
[health:percent]
I recommend backing up your WTF folder - where your profiles for all addons, including ElvUI are stored.

My replies might be short due to time constraints. Nothing personal. (Thanks Blaze)

I may have missed this, if so forgive me and feel free to link slap me to the right place.. but...

Is there a way to insert a carriage return or new line into either the Unit Frame or Name Plate? This would essentially be like what we have with Name and then Title on a separate line, but without the separate tag.

Thanks for the help in advance!

How do I display Unit health relative to player health?
[health:current/player:health:max]*100
Example 1: player has 10000 hp, mob has 9500 = 95 unit health
Example 2: player has 10000 hp, mob has 50000 = 500 unit health

Numbers in the game are always in flux and the only thing that really matters to me is what those numbers are relative to my character. I would also want to do the same with my damage output onscreen.

Not available with base ElvUI. You may be able to achieve that with this plugin https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?id=147

The linked plugin does work. Created a new custom tag [health:relative] and made the following function

Code: Select all

function(unit)
   local max = UnitHealthMax("player")
   local min = (UnitHealth(unit)/max)*100

   if not UnitIsGhost(unit) then
String = _VARS.E:GetFormattedText('CURRENT', min, max, true)
   end

   return String
end

I have some questions... i want to know some commands.

The "Equipment Level" of my target.
The "Transparency" of a windows when i put mouseover it.
I want to reveal a windows when <[combat]show;hide>, but when <[mouseover]show;hide> too, and i can't :S
And i want to know if i can put my cooldowns on screen too. I mea, if i have one skill on CD, i want to see it on screen. I can with Tukui?

Thanx and sorry for my English...

@LoboNecrodes Are you using Tukui or ElvUI. These tags are for ElvUI, Tukui doesn't have these.
